Săcăşeni commune is surrounded from south to north and on the eastern part by hills and forests. Forests represent the predominant vegetation form, with a very diverse spontaneous flora, which is typical in the plain to hill transition areas. Chegea village offers an amazing landscape due to the existing wild pear trees, drinkable water springs, and typical quietness. The main economic activities in the commune are forest exploitation and agriculture.
